Bryan Warren

Bryan has served as a trusted advisor to healthcare senior leaders, including physicians, for three decades. As an attorney, he represented physicians in navigating the challenges of building successful practices, including complex regulatory matters, the evolving medical staff model and hospital partnerships. He represented the medical society in West Virginia in their efforts to reform that state’s medical malpractice laws.

He then served as Vice President and In-House Counsel for a consulting group that eventually became part of Zimmer-Biomet. In this role, he led a team that created and deployed comprehensive health system service line strategies, with a special focus on market and physician-hospital alignment strategies, including various joint ventures.

As Vice President and In-House Counsel of Select International he led the development of market leading selection and development tools and strategies for health systems, and facilitated the sale of Select to the world’s largest testing company (now, Talogy). He worked closely with the experts at Select to deploy innovative programs for individual and group coaching and workshops for healthcare leadership teams.

He then spent several years working with health systems and physician groups to design and deploy customized, comprehensive department strategy and physician leadership development programs. Clients included UPMC, Christus Health, Yale Medicine, Mass. General, U. of Chicago, Ohio State University, and numerous medical professional associations. He’s a frequent speaker and author on these topics.

Most recently, he served as CEO of a large regional orthopedic group, expanding the practice, improving financial performance, culture and engagement and the patient experience – and negotiated a successful practice transaction.

He assists the PeopleConnect team in tailoring our tools and products to the unique challenges facing healthcare organizations.

Education: Bryan earned his law degree, with honors, from Duquesne University School of Law, a Master’s Degree from Boston University and his B.S. from Juniata College.
